SUB POP 200 3LP VINYL BOX SET. LIMITED EDITION OF 5000. Original owner, bought new. Includes outside black box, 3 LP records, multi page full size 12"x12" black and white booklet, original sticker from the shrink wrap. Kept in my record library, heat and humidity controlled, non smoking.
BOX CONDITION: Very clean, nice and black, no signs of wear or rubbing. Slight creasing on front upper left, small bubbling upper right center, very minimal. Back cover clean throughout. Overall, quite outstanding considering it is 27 years old.
BOOKLET: As new, no signs of any wear or aging. No discoloring.
RECORDS: In original sleeves, I don't think I ever played them, bright and shiny, as new.

Sub Pop 200 is a compilation released in the early days of the Seattle grunge scene (December 1988). It features songs (many of them first releases and otherwise unattainable) from Tad,The Fluid, Nirvana, Steven "Jesse" Bernstein, Mudhoney, The Walkabouts, Terry Lee Hale, Soundgarden, Green River, Fastbacks, Blood Circus, Swallow, Chemistry Set, Girl Trouble, The Nights and Days, Cat Butt, Beat Happening, Screaming Trees, Steve Fisk, and The Thrown Ups.

Many of these bands went on to be incredibly influential in the early 1990s and onwards. Most notable of these were Nirvana, Soundgarden, Green River (who spawned Mudhoney andMother Love Bone and later Temple of the Dog and Pearl Jam), Screaming Trees, and Mudhoney.

The cover is an illustration by comics artist Charles Burns, who was regularly used by Sub Pop for covers and posters around this period.
