"Rolling Stones : Through the Past, Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2)" LP Unboxed Red Decca (Made In India - Dum Dum India)

Extremely rare and hard to find LP specially in this condition - Solid looking sleeve, No writings on sleeve or label and not a single stain mark either. One of the best condition Stones' Unboxed Decca LP you have ever seen on ebay. Found it just few days ago and it was still in its original outer sleeve for 42 years and hence the condition. Previous owner (also the first and only owner) has taken the good care of it.

All images from actual item only. What you see here is exactly what you get. Any western artist's LP in India is always a rare item because of limited pressings due to very narrow listener base. And like in any other tropical country, heat and dust plays an important part in quick degradation of lp and sleeve. I have tried to describe anything unusual that naked eye can detect. Most of the collectors interested in this record because of historic value and not for listening pleasure. So i have given more emphasis on visual condition but if you want i will record and paste a sound slip from this record.

Record : Overall Excellent (visual basis). More than 95 % surface area is clean and shiny. On rest 5 % few hairline size marks (not scratches) are visible on close inspection which are obviously due to friction with sleeve. If you want to listen a sound clip, please feel free to ask for it.

Sleeve : Ex. Hard cardboard type solid looking sleeve (famous in 60s). No stain marks or writing anywhere. Spine in like new condition. Top and bottom seams show some split at one end (near open end), only paper and not the cardboard itself). Please see the pics.

For labels, please see image.

Round bottom inner sleeve (polythene). Replaced it after cleaning the LP with audiophile grade sleeve of same type.

Shipping for this LP is $ 14 worldwide by registered airmail. It is a secure shipping method and signature of receiver is required. LPs will be packed in lp mailer boxes with extra strong stuffers made up of corrugated cardboard. If you buy more than one LP, then shipping is $ 4 extra per item. If you purchase multiple items and unable to see discounted shipping then please wait for invoice. Double LP set for shipping will count as 2 items. I can ship this by surface mail and shipping is $4 worldwide but it is highly discouraged due to long shipping time (3 to 6 months).

Delivery time by registered airmail takes 7 Days to 4 weeks in 95% cases. Normally 80 % foreign destined items reach within 14 days to respective countries. Shipping duration is not country dependent, for example sometimes items reach within 4 days to same country and sometimes they take up to 28 days to same country. However some countries have good shipping time than others. For USA and most of the european and asian countries, shipping time is 7 to 14 days in 80% cases and less than 20 days in 90% cases. But for countries like Italy / Brazil / Israel / Indonesia where custom procedure is slow, shipping time is 7 to 14 days in 50% cases, less than 20 days in 70% cases and less than 25 days in 95 % cases.

PLEASE NOTE : As per ebay rule, seller has to specify at least one shipping mode to US buyers for which charges are within ebay's permitted limit. So i have added surface shipping for USA buyers. It is $4 per 78 rpm record but it is highly discouraged due to long shipping time (3 to 6 months). Actual surface shipping is still higher but that way i will lose less money.
