Sunai el Nagam (Khadijah Mohamed & Zeynab Saad) -  Ya sit al wadeh  Munsphone Sudan 196?  
Obscure release by female duo Sunai el Nagam who were active in Sudan in the 60s, released by Sudan label Munsphone (see my other items for their other release).  Hypnotic groove based on dumbak percussion with violin and flute and the rhytmic chants of the two ladies. Rough recording and volume goes up & down a slight bit towards the end.
Superb! And if you are into Ethio jazz and other sounds from the region (taarab, Somali music etc) then you should check out the snippet here. This song is cut up into two parts as it was too long for one side, in fact it cuts off abruptly and continues on side 2.
Other releases on this label have been equally hard to find, few records from the era seem to have survived. Check out the snippet and have a look at my other items for three more singles on the same label. In very nice shape, these look and sound as if they not played very often. The sleeve is written in Arabic, mine is a phonetic transcription of the title.
