Description
Sonny Rollins - A Night at the ‘Village Vanguard’ Mono BLP 1581 Blue Note ‘New York’ USA pressing
‘NEW YORK USA’ label on side 1
’47 WEST 63rd USA’ NO ’R’ label on side 2 - I presume this is a label from the first pressing run being used up on this later NY pressing.
Deep groove to both labels
Plastylite ‘P’ (also known as the ‘Ear’) and stamped 'RVG' in the runout on both sides.
Vinyl is mostly in nice condition apart from a cluster of marks on Track 2 Side 1 - Softly as in a morning sunrise (see picture 3) The marks cause some crackle / clicks when played, but cause no skips on my turntable.
I have included a clip of the end of Track 1 into Track 2 where the clicks can be heard. The rest of the LP plays well.
Cover has some corner wear and creasing, and chipping to seams. Top of spine has rubbed to the bare cardboard - see pictures
No original inner sleeve - new inner included.
Buyers outside of the U.K. - item will be sent through the Global Shipping Program.
Audio clip of crackles on Side1 Track 2.
