"The Sound of Steam"
Private pressing produced and recorded by Kenneth Alexander, Mechanicsburg PA. Mono  1963 This is a limited edition, private pressing from the Williams Grove Steam Engine Association (now the Williams Grove Historical Steam Engine Association). Side One details nine pieces of steam equipment with announcers LeRoy Shugart and George Fawber while Side Two documents the Labor Day parade in 1963.  This Labor Day (2023) parade in Williams Grove will mark exactly sixty years since this recording was made.  No cardboard sleeve (none issued), so record will ship in a new generic inner sleeve and new generic outer sleeve. 12" vinyl is excellent.
