Description

This is the second part of my big auction of Specialty Records 7" 45's. Specialty recorded many great artists in the blues, R&B & gospel genres among others. All of those will be represented. There will also be a selection of a few rare bonus listings from other labels.

Release: The Twilighters - It's True / Wah-Bop-Sh-Wah

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1955


Notes: White & yellow label first pressing. The only record released by this Twilighters out of Atlanta, an obscure group for sure.  A-side is a nice vocal ballad.  B-side is more of an uptempo, almost R&B track. Great stuff with that classic 50's sound. 


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with basically no wear at all. Looks very clean and shiny and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with original gloss, no writing/tearing/stickers. There is some light ring scuffing. This is a really nice copy overall.


Sleeve Condition: VG, original company sleeve has some wrinkles and stray pencil marks, but no tears or splits.
