TITLE: The Magic City
CONDITION:
Sleeve: VG to VG+ / The front cover has some ring wear, a couple of small light stains at the bottom. Mono is blacked out under the ctalogue number at the left side of the front cover. The back cover has a bit more ring wear especially at the very bottom. The bottom seam has a 2 1/2" split in the middle, some light wear, two very tiny nicks and a tiny spot of wear at the bottom right corner. The top seam has a 2 1/2" split in the midlle, 1 1/4" wear spot at the top left corner. The spine is intact.
Record: Retains high original gloss. Side A starts off w/ some background surface noise and then plays great, almost Mint- w/ a touch of very light random background surface noise. It also has a couple of very tiny pressing bubbles that cause a few very light background ticks. Side B has a few revolutions of light background surface noise at the very beginning of the side and the rest plays Mint- / Both sides have great sound presence. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Original Thoth Stereo copy of this Sun Ra classic. The labels and back cover state that this LP is mono but it is true stereo. Stampers : 711-A 1-GB Saturn El Saturn Stereo / 711-B 1 GB El Saturn Stereo
