- OYE COMO VA (Latin soul funk with FILTHY psych fuzz wah-wah guitar, groovy bass, strong sax, and loud drums/percussion -- along with BAILANDO EN LA SELVA/DANCING IN THE JUNGLE by MANUEL MENDIOLA & THE EXILES BAND, definitely one of the top 3 tracks ever issued by DISCO BONITO!)
- C.P. (CHICANO POWER) (Tejano/Tex-Mex orquesta brass polka)
- 1971 regional release on DISCO BONITO (B-010 -- HOUSTON, TEXAS, US).
- May appeal to those into the following 45: LITTLE JOE AND THE EMBERS -- SOUL FINGER + HAPPY SAX -- DISCOS JESNA (JE-009).
- VINYL: The vinyl is visually a strong VG (shiny wax with scuff wear, hairlines, and such here and there -- the OYE COMO VA side has a long cylindrical scuff line running with the grooves -- also, the CP side has a scratch in the outer deadwax area which of course does not affect anything -- also, the wax itself has tiny speckles which appears manufacturing-based -- OYE COMO VA plays GREAT with some light background surface noise...mostly at the beginning of the track...NO pops...NO clicks...NO skips -- CP also plays nicely...with a little more surface noise when compared to the other side...and more so at the beginning of the track which lessens as the song progresses).
- LABELS: SEE PHOTOS (labels with rub wear/ring wear/scuff wear and a very small stain on the OYE COMO VA side).
- The following is a clip of OYE COMO VA taken from a DIFFERENT copy to get a feel for the music (the copy being sold here may have slightly more light background surface noise but overall will sound similar to the clip, but it is NOT the same copy): picosong.com/whagq/
