Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Hey Jude 12" 1970 EXPORT stereo original Apple LP vinyl press' in overall VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition.
VINYL:-
Visual:
- Side 1 - hairlines and light marks only, nothing feelable. Rated as VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD+.
- Side 2 - lots of light non-feelable marks. Rated as VERY GOOD-/VERY GOOD. Label is VERY GOOD+.
Audio:
- In my opinion, the audio is VERY GOOD+! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! There is some light background crackle that can be heard from time to time but nothing that is overbearing or disruptive. It is very punchy, crisp and loud! A great listen! Lies very flat and plays very well!
The original export stereo sleeve is in VERY GOOD-/VERY GOOD condition. Front of sleeve has some light laminate creasing, light ring wear and light scratches. Rear of sleeve has more creases, more visible ring wear and scratches but no writing or graffiti! The spine of the sleeve is pinched but is 100% readable - both on the edge and the top spine. Thre is a scuff on the top edge spine (pictured) but it is not a split! PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES!!
Overall, a great record to play and listen to.
Catalogue number - CPCS 106 Number of tracks - 10 Released - 1970 (73?) Matrix numbers - YEEX 150-1 (mother stampers: 2 ) YEEX 151-1 (mother stampers: nothing there!)
As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a fantastic classic Beatles record that sounds GREAT!!
