This is one of the rarest of The Beatles officially issued LPs. It was withdrawn on the first day of sale because George Martin is supposed not to have liked the take of Tomorrow never Knows used. All susbsequent issues have a shorter and, in my view inferior, version of John Lennon's seminal psychedelic composition.
This is would rate an EXCELLENT grade were it not for a mark on side one which makes an audible, although low click, over three tracks. Curse the clumsy fool who did that!!! The rest of the LP is virtually mark-free and would rate as excellent plus and apart from this blemish it plays like wonderfully.
The labels are very clean with no no spindle wear, tears, writing or marks whatso ever. It was the KT tax code and side 2 has the all important matrix number XEX-606-1. (Side one is XEX 605-2 - the answer to the question posted below is incorrect).
The cover is flat with a little wear - there is a noticeable laminate crease bottom right corner.
This is what it is - a good addition to any Beatles collection and one which apart from the one blemish is excellent.
