Artist : The Beatles Title : Rubber Soul Catalogue Number : PMC 1267 Matrix Number : XEX 579 - 1 / XEX 580 - 1 Issue : This is the UK 1st Press, it is the original loud cut mix. This earliest press is complete with the yellow and black Parlophone label, the earliest matrix and the laminated, flipback Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. Vinyl Condition : The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition. The vinyl has the original jet black gloss and the grooves show no sign of age. There are a few light marks and a few wispy hairlines marks. The vinyl is complete with the original inner sleeve. Label Condition : The label is in EXCELLENT condition. The black is bold and the silver and yellow text are sharp. There is just the slightest spindle wear. Play Condition : The sound quality is EXCELLENT. There is a little noise at the beginning of Norwegian Wood and You Won’t See Me otherwise the marks have little to no affect on play, just maybe a little noise between tracks. The wonderful heavy vinyl means the sound is rich, bold and vibrant throughout.
Sleeve Condition : The laminated flipback sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. The laminate is superb, the colours are bold and the picture is sharp. There a few small laminate creases and a little opening edge wear. The back has some discolouration but is is still bright and clean. The whole sleeve is firm and the spine is firm with clear text.
