This is the UK ONE BOX EMI Press of 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' by The Beatles. The press has the original plain inner sleeve and the correct Stereo laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. The vinyl has the scarce One Box EMI label, which was replaced with the standard reissue 2 box label soon after production and the original 1/1 matrix. It is also complete with the Peter Blake cutout.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational jet black gloss, every track gleams. There is just one light mark on Side One and a couple of wispy hairlines. The label is superb. The black is flawless, the silver text is immaculate and there is just the slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and vibrant. There is Excellent audio separation and clarity throughout.
The vinyl is complete with the original plain inner sleeve in Excellent condition.
The Peter Blake insert is in sensational Near Mint condition.
The Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold Stereo laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The sleeve is absolutely superb. The laminate has a stunning mirrored shine, the colours are vivid and the whole of the sleeve is completely solid and flat. There is tiny wear to one corner. The inside shines like new, the laminate creaks when opened and it is in sensational bright and clean shape. The back cover is also exceptionally clean and bright and the spine is solid with sharp text.
