Description
I am not a record collector or an expert on condition etc. I have researched verious sites and have discovered a few things which I will list below. This really is a rare early copy of the album that changed popular music forever.
To confirm that this really is a true first pressing ; Side 1 matrix ; XEX 421 -1N Side 2 matrix ; XEX 422 -1N Side 1 has the mother stamper ; 1 (at 9 oclock) and M (at 3 oclock) . Side 2 has the mother stamper; 1 (at 9 oclock) and O (at 3 oclock).
Matrix: Side 1 XEX 421-1, Side 2 XEX 422-1 . First pressing. Dick James Credit for I Saw Her Standing There, etc
CONDITION:
Vinyl / play notes: Many light scratches and marks. Plays from start to finish well with no skips or pops. Some surface noise and distortion in spots. One light tick in Anna. Light crackle in a few songs. Not perfect but sounds fantastic for its age. So much thicker than modern vinyl.
Label: spindle marks (see picture).
Cover: Some wear and old tape marks (see pictures). Ernst J Day laminated cover, large MONO, Angus McBean (see picture)
Inner Sleeve: Some wear, I've recently discovered its the Decca sleeve and has the Tax code ZT still attched.(see picture)
It will be well packaged for postage.
