THE DOORS debut S/T, vg to vg+ cover with corner wear rubs creases, tears at lower front, no splits, heavy spine rubbing, on labels cat# is ekl4007, vinyl is vg+ with hairlines, scuffs/use (one barely tactile scuff less than a centimeter in length to track 5 side two only, very short), mono numbered labels as printed on big E gold labels and lp plays mono! gold labels with big white E, Elektra EKL 4007 mono 1st vinyl original vinyl '67, matrix etches: "ekl4007 A (A) / ekl4007 B (A)", no bar code, USA! RARE!! HEAVY COVER, HEAVY VINYL!! with new plain white paper inner sleeve.
VG to VG+ VINTAGE COVER SHOWING FRAYING AT SPINE AND CORNERS AND A SMALL AREA AT FRONT LOWER CORNER THAT MAY HAVE GOTTEN WET AND PEELED AT ONE TIME (see pics of tearing) HOWEVER THE VINYL IS VERY NICE VG+ WITH ONLY A FEW MINOR SCUFFS and Hairlines, very glossy still! VINYL RETAINS A BEAUTIFUL SHEEN!

Vinyl grading is usually based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise,still plays great.
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!
