Description

Here is a nice collector's item from 1967 - the RARE Something Else by The Kinks! Their 5th studio album, it is the original UK 1st pressing in MONO!
Catalogue number NPL 18193 on the PYE crimson label

This is a professionally stored and well-preserved copy of this now rare mono item.  The vinyl is glossy and in EX condition, with a couple of tiny visible marks which don't impede play. The record has been cleaned and plays brilliantly on my equipment with just barely audible clicks at start of A3 if played quietly. The run-out grooves show stamp NMPL 18193 A 1*M and B 1*M - the earliest matrices!

The labels are clean with barely a trace of spindlewear, and in the deep crimson PYE colour of the time

It comes in its original inner sleeve and like the cover, although aged, is still in super condition

This collection of very 'English' vignettes is now a treasure of a bygone age and an essential piece of UK pop and rock history

It is certainly one of the greatest 100 records of all time

It includes 2 hit singles, the sublime Waterloo Sunset by Ray Davies, and Death of A Clown by Dave Davies
