Description
A great opportunity to buy a copy of a 7 inch VINYL single from the 60's by The Marvelettes called "Please Mr. Postman". The label shows the initial spelling of the name to be Marvellettes.
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1961 on the Fontana label (H.355). It has "Please Mr. Postman" on the A side with "So Long Baby" on the B side.
The vinyl is in a lovely, clean and shiny NEAR-MINT condition. I always grade and examine records under a bright table lamp and there is little to indicate it has been used or played. I have played both sides and they play fine and sound great.
The labels are completely clean and free from any writing, marks or major defects.
The record is housed within its original company sleeve in an EXCELLENT condition, though slightly faded with age.
Both the record and the sleeve have been well protected and it is a great example of a rare and highly collectable Motown-related single.
