Description

THIS is a 1956 45 rpm by THE PENGUINS   ~  " EARTH ANGEL "   b/w  " ICE " ,  on the Mercury Label  # 70943 , White Sleeve.

This is not the same 1954 recording originally released on DOOTONE Records, but an inferior 1956 re-recording of the song. 

Matrix Numbers:     45 - YWM - 13975 - 2    and    45 - YWM - W -534 - 1 , are machine stamped in Dead Wax.

Vinyl:   VERY GOOD+                                       NO RESERVE AUCTION

Descriptions of label flaws which are visible in photos, such as, ring & center hole wear, writing , stickers, air bubbles, tears, etc., are not listed below, unless such are not clearly visible in the pictures.

Vinyl:  NO SKIPPING , POPS.

Very mild surface noise.      

A few very light faint superficial hairline scratches and a couple of very light faint scuffs.   A few very mild ticks and very light crackles.    One spindle trail on A Side label.     A very slight warp which doesn't affect play.
