On offer today is a Original 1963 uk issue of The Safaris 'Wipeout' LP on the London label!
The Surfaris debut LP was a bizarre one? Two of the twelve tracks on the album IS indeed the Safaris (Wipeout + Surfer Joe) but the other 10 tracks are performed by popular surf instrumental group 'The Challengers' Apparently, The Surfaris did record all the same tracks for the album but the record company rejected them for the more cleaner 'Challengers' recordings. The group themselves were pretty miffed.(Understandably)
This is the original uk 1st Press mono issue (HA-D 8110) on the plum London label! Comes complete with original poly lined sleeve! Check out the photos!
Sleeve condition : VG++ (The sleeve is in marvellous condition! Only a few small but light creases around the sides and the Clarifoil lamination gleams like new! The only down side is that the rear has browned a bit over the years but altogether a great example!
Record condition : EX++ (Record looks virtually unplayed with zero marks whatsoever! Both sides gleam like new look brilliant!both sides have been given one careful play test and have absolutely no issues at all. I would grade Near mint but due to its age (55 years old) I will say a very generous Excellent ++!

Grading system.
- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
- EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
- VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
- GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
- FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
- POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
- BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
