THE WHO Sings My Generation MONO 1st U.S. pressing super early version with "TI" in the deadwax indicating early issue Groversville pressing with same matrix numbers as the promo!
The U.S. edition came out 6 months after the UK version with slightly different track listing and completely different cover art.
VINYL in VG++ condition, super clean with just a few light spindle marks, excellent!!!
COVER in VG with yellowing/staining on the back, the top seam is fully split (the front still looks great), the spine has chipping and wear though still intact, the bottom seam has wear and chipping but intact. Corner wear/bumps.
FREE PRIORITY 2 DAY domestic shipping. Packed securely in proper mailer with record removed to prevent splitting.

NotesOn labels THERE IS NOT the text "A Division of MCA" printed below the rainbow strip, and matrix/runout is the same as the US PROMO The Who - Sings my Generation
For the above reasons this is a true example of first US pressing with the standard US Decca label.
Mono (and stereo) copies with "A Division of MCA" printed below the rainbow strip were pressed later (from 1967-68).
Pressings from Decca Gloversville plant can be identified by a ? (typically LPs) at the end of the B side label matrix and a stick "1" stamped/etched into the runout.
