Description
A lovely copy of the first rare STEREO pressing of A Hard Day's Night. The sleeve is excellent bearing a crease which I have highlighted in the photograph. The reverse of the sleeve is very white and clean and has obviously been stored very carefully since 1964. The labels are excellent and show through only minimal spindle marks that this record has received a small number of plays. The labels bear the chubby font used only on the very earliest pressings.
The vinyl is very good to excellent displaying signs of handling; paper scuffs and light marks but no significant scratches. I played the first side and it sounded stunning. The crashing opening chord of the title track sounds absolutely amazing. the whole LP sounds so completely different to a CD, a wonderful depth and warmth which is only heard on vinyl.
