Description
The Beatles- A Hard Days Night Stereo PCS 3058 Mispressing.
Up for auction is the third album released by The Beatles entitled A Hard Days Night. This version was quickly recalled due to an error on the label.
This is a second pressing with the small solid Stereo on the front cover.
Yellow / Black Parlophone labels with 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd. & Sold In UK' Text.
Matrix numbers are YEX 126-1 with 3 stamper at the 9 o clock and AM stampers at 3 o clock position side 1.
Side 2 matrix numbers are YEX 127-1 with 2 stamper at the 9 o clock and MD stampers at 3 o clock position.
Side 2 also has KT stamped around the centre hole.
The vinyl is housed in the original plain EMI sleeve with the original cover made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. Patents Pending.
What makes this stereo copy so especially scarce is that only the side 1 tracks were used for The Beatles debut movie 'A Hard Days Night'. No tracks from side 2 were on the film!
By mistake EMI issued, very briefly, this LP with credits on side 2 'Songs from the film A Hard Days Night' which was incorrect and the LP was very quickly withdrawn from sale. Only a small volume of these vinyls escaped into the public domain.

Condition:
The front cover is in Excellent condition. Some slight corner wear and slight discolouration to the outer edge.
The rear cover is in Very Good condition. Flip backs all in good order with just some slight discolouration.
Side 1: Stereo Vinyl Very Good. Some light paper scuffs and a few small hairline marks. Vinyl still retains an excellent sheen. No skips or pops, some light static during quiet parts of the tracks.
