Description

An original 1st press of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note the labels are consistent with very 1st press and exhibit the chubby font and 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Ernest J Day cover. Also included is an original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetween are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Even the quieter paired down tracks play really nice and clean. Interference is almost totally absent. All I could detect were a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. A beautifully preserved 1st press copy...impressive!
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Lovely clean and unaged front with just some stress creasing around the edges. The rear has escaped mush of the usual fading process - just a bit along the opening edge. All flipbacks are perfectly secure and edge wear is light. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains very nice rigidity. Please note there's a record shop sticker on the rear.
Emitex (Ex) Very little ageing. No marks. No splits. Nice~!
