Description

AHDN a true 1st of the 1st pressings on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix -3N/-3N. The chubbier font is indicative of the very 1st pressing. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. 100% original and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) Looks in great condition and only seems to have seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity and minimal interference. We only detected a touch of light static in the last track on side 1 and there is very little else worthy of note. This really is the definitive way to listen to this CLASSIC.
Cover (Ex) Remains in terrific condition and seems to have avoided most of the problems aflicting covers of this era. Nice and shiny front devoid of any nasty marks or creases. The rear is only exhibiting the very lightest signs of ageing. Edge wear is minimal and the spine is totally intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A great example...
Emitex (Ex) No splits and very little ageing.
