Description
A Hard Day's Night UK 1st press on the Parlophone label. Matrix -3N/-3N. Stampers 2-GPP/6-RGO. The record label exhibits the larger chubby font which was only used on the very first pressings of A Hard Day's Night. The record comes housed in an original Ernest J Day Sleeve.
Cover (Ex-) Seems very well preserved. A lovely shiny front and a back only suffering some light ageing. All flipbacks are perfectly intact and there's very little edge wear at all. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover has great rigidity.
Vinyl (Vg+/Ex-) Has seen moderate use and please note there are a number of markings a couple of which are just feelable. So, this is certainly not for the hifi purist. However, on playback the audio quality is pretty darn good. Yes, there are a few crackles during the inbetweens, and a couple of clicks, and a few audible crackles occasionally during the music, but by and large audio playback is near excellent. The average listener, I would imagine, would be more than happy/impressed with the playback on offer here.
