A 1st mono press of AHDN on UK Parlophone from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Note you can get an earliest 1st with chubby font, but these narrower font copies come hot on their heals at 1st release. Please note 'Parlophone' present in the perimeter text. "Recording 1st publishing" still present which are all required for a 1st press from the release date. PLEASE NOTE - there is no cover...this is a VINYL ONLY listing.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and not all original copies are gonna be looking this tasty after this period of time. A couple of light scuff marks early side 1. But nothing nasty or heavy. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one minor deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Little to find fault with here. It's just a little cracker>>. As adept at the upbeat numbers as the lowkey fussy numbers. Clean throughout. You might pick out a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. And maybe a couple of isolated light ticks in AHDN. Other than that...sit back and replay 1964 like it was yesterday!
