The Beatles Help LP UK 1st Mono Press ... GREAT AUDIO [Ex+/Vg]

Description

An original 1st press of Help! on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 2/2. Please note the labels exhibit the abbreviated "Lark Mus. " publishing credit and the track 'I Need You' is followed by a space and then an asterisk [all indicative of very 1st press]. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side, and one superficial trail - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments. Other than that expect an impressive and clean rendition. Even 'Yesterday' - the benchmark test track - is very nice and clean..which is not always an easy find.
Cover (Vg) In very nice shape with a beautiful white front cover exhibiting that, now, iconic image. All I can make out are a couple of small thumbnail creases toward the opening, some scuff marking at the top edge, and a nick betwen the 'E' and 'L' of HELP. The rear has aged a bit, but it's still in respectable condition. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Bit of ageing. One side split has been taped up. Bottom edge has a one inch split.
