Description

An original 1st mono press of Help on UK Parlophone from 1965. Matrix 2/2 - 1st cut. LARK Music publishing still showing in abbreviated form and a space between I Need You and the asterisk. Sounds crazy...but this infers genuine 1st pressing  Lovely solid pressing as you would expect. A really well preserved original - not abused like so many other copies. The vinyl comes housed in an original mono cover. There's also the original Emitex inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome though. For the vintage it looks really good. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really very quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Given the vintage - highly impressive. A cracking performer even into the lowkey fussy moments. No kidding - practically perfect. Is it the best copy I've ever witnessed...perhaps! It is definitely in the top three...and that is quite something. Overall a great rendition and way better than what typically surfaces. 'Yesterday' is usualy the benchmark for a great copy - and this example is a case in point...Yesterday has a super quiet background - a couple of crackles literally. To get to this level I'd argue you must be in the top 95% of copies still in existence. You can certainly have a look for a copy that will play as well as this one.,,.But you will NEVER find a better playing copy. FINAL UPGRADE. 
Cover (Ex-) Really difficult to find in really great condition - but this example is a cut above the average copy. Nice clean front and this is actually very close on true white - which is a hard find. The rear has avoided much of the usual fading - just a bit at the opening. Flipbacks are all well preserved and there's little edge wear. there is, however, a very well hidden two inch bottom edge split. Repaired internally this is now a very minor cosmetic issue [most folks won't even spot it!]  The spine is 90% intact with a couple of stress creases. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Superb!
Inner (Ex-) Minimal ageing , and no splits.
