This NEAR MINT earliest UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from August 1965 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3071
Earliest possible matrix numbers: YEX 168-1 & YEX 169-1
Laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover, with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve

An exceptionally clean, unworn pair showing just a small handful of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: Near Mint
Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their deep-gloss shine with just a few light wispy surface marks consistent with inner-sleeve removal beneath halogen light, but no scratches or any significant blemishes or wear.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
All tracks on this earliest of copies play cleanly and clearly without any trace of groove/playwear distortion on any track or in either channel. There are no clicks, pops, ticks or any other audible distractions throughout.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A truly 1st-class example with little or no wear - see pictures
The rear panel is near pristine with only a tiny bit of wear only. All flipbacks are completely unworn
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is in perfect condition
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with a touch of wear to the upper opening edge, but otherwise as good as these fragile components get.
