Description

A 1st pressing of the Magical Mystery Tour EP on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix -1/-1/-1/-2. Both records hold the 'Sold in the UK..' statement on their labels which identifies them as original first issues. The ep's are housed in an original cover including 24 page booklet. Please note the lyric sheets inside the booklet are blue which is indicative of a first pressing. Also included are both the original wavey topped inner sleeves.
Cover (Ex) Has clearly been looked after down the years and has survived in remarkable condition. Shiny front and back with only very very light edgewear. There's some very light ageing to the interior but this is very minor. All pages of the booklet are intact and have not been defaced in any way. The booklet itself remains securely stapled within the cover and there are no signs of rust. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and has the feel of a new product. Even the spine shows very little wear at all. A fantastic example of an original sort after cover.
Vinyl (VG+/Ex) Have only seen moderate use and, again, have clearly been looked after carefully. All sides seem to remain nice and shiny. Under close inspection I can't see more than a couple of ultra feint marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a near EXCELLENT level of playback. There is a bit of light crackle in a couple of the quieter tracks, but it's really quite minor and doesn't detract from the audio quality of these disks. For the most part the audio quality is nearer excellent with little interference. These mono originals do have a very nice bold warm sound to them - thoroughly enjoyable.
Inners (Ex) Both remain totally intact and without markings or ageing. Very difficult to find like this...
