Description

The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour Ep MMT-1 MONO 2 X & 7 inch on the UK Parlophone label from around the time of release - late 1967. Matrix -1/-1/-1/-2. Both vinyl eps hold the 'kt tax credit' and the 'sold in in the uk....' blurb which can only be found on early original copies. This text was discontinued in 1969. The eps come housed in their original Garrod and Lofthouse gatefold cover including booklet and blue lyric inner sheet plus original wavey inner sleeves.
Cover (Ex+) The outer cover is in fantastic condition - can honestly say I've not seen a better one. All flip-backs are secure and the spine is in excellent condition. There's very little edge wear to speak of at all and absolutely no writing, marks, or tearing on any of the interior pages. All pages are present including the blue lyric sheet which is in immaculate condition. I imagine it would be quite difficult to find another in this kind of condition.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-/VG+/VG) Has only seen moderate play and has clearly been looked after. A close inspection reveals nothing more than a couple of very light marks. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a near EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are, on the whole, pretty quiet. The audio comes across with excellent clarity and only the occassional very light interference. I have graded Side 4 down to VG because a couple of small marks do cause a few crackles/interference during 'Blue Jay Way'. But setting this a side playback is consistently of a high standard and is certainly a very enjoyable listen. [please note:- the labels have been initialled - barely visible].
