Do you have an original 1963 PPM which is getting a bit tired? Might be worth an upgrade?
What we have is a genuine summer 1963 4th Press from whilst PP was cruising at No.1 in the UK. Matrix 1N/1N. 'Parlophone' text in the label perimeter text. 'recording 1st pub' text is present. And importantly... there's NO 'Sold In The Uk' Statement. Worth going for these early copies - they were pressed heavy and sound fab in Mono.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. A couple of light marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. By and large a super rendition with the energy and enthusiasm of the early Beatles. Plays clean throughout - even into those fussy numbers on side 2. Not much to take issue with - maybe a few crackles in one isolated spot per side. It is a fantastic rendition. Go for a Xmas upgrade - if you need it!
Emitex (Vg) A bit aged. But it's an early "patent pending" one from '63.Bag still present. No splits.
