THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE PLEASE ME'
This NEAR MINT UK STEREO pressing of their 1963 debut album dates from c.1968 on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3045
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'The Gramophone Co...' worded rims
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label
Earliest matrix numbers: YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1
Stamper codes: 2/MD & 1/AO
Vinyl weight: 140g
Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed gatefold cover with a 'small' stereo indicator
Complete with original red/white EMI advertising inner-sleeve

A pristine pair with just two faint spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole and only a single on label 1
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, factory-fresh playing surfaces which are 'as new' & unmarked in strong daylight with just one or two barely visible wispy paper hairlines beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp. You will not find a better example of this pressing
Sound Quality: MINT
Played once of twice at most on high-end equipment, all tracks play flawlessly. My playcheck detected no trace of any groove/playwear distortion, background interference or even a single clicks, tick or pop anywhere. No upgrade required here
Cover: EXCELLENT +
This 1st-class example retains an unscratched high-gloss front panel where the only blemish is a single small 'thumbnail' wrinkle'
All corners are perfectly sharp and completely unworn, as are both opening edges
The rear panel is clean, white & unblemished with fully intact & unworn flipbacks. The only sign of age is some toning along the spine
All seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit and the spine itself is totally unworn
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
