Description
Really lovely Mono copy of this Beatles classic from 1967. Not quite ‘archive’ standard but not too far away from a final upgrade. The catalogue number is Parlophone PMC 7027, and matrices are XEX 637-1/XEX 638-1 indicating a first pressing.
Gatefold sleeve – Ex- Fully laminated with ‘drop down’ flap on the inside of the gatefold. Light creasing here and there, as well as minor rubbing along the spine.
Labels – Ex+ Very little spindlewear visible – few plays?
Card insert - Ex+ In great shape – as new.
Inner sleeve – Ex Original red & white inner bag.
Record – Visually Side 1 is pretty much perfect, just the faintest sleeve-removal marks seen under a strong light and grades as Ex. Side 2 is not quite as good, with a couple of visible but light & non-sounding sleeve-removal hairlines. Side 2 grades as VG+ as a result. Playback is Ex- overall, superb audio for the most part with light crackle in places.
