Description
The Beatles / White Album / UK Mono 2LP PMC 7067/7068 Numbered Top Loader
Original UK mono pressing of The Beatles' White Album on Apple Records, housed in the original numbered top-loading gatefold sleeve.
Embossed sleeve number: 0508046
A very desirable UK mono copy complete with all four original portrait photographs and both original black die-cut inner sleeves.
This copy has the later corrected Apple labels with "An E.M.I. Recording" text.
Photos form part of the description. All photos are of the actual record you will receive. Any flaws are shown clearly.
VINYL:
Record 1: VG
Record 2: VG
Both records display many light surface hairlines and handling marks consistent with age and use. No deep feelable scratches noted. Despite the visual wear, all four sides play through very well with strong mono sound and no skips. A solid listening copy.
SLEEVE:
VG+
Original numbered top-loading sleeve remains very presentable with strong structure and clear embossing. General age-related wear, handling marks and discolouration. Spine wear and corner wear as expected for a 1968 original but overall still displays very nicely.
INNERS:
VG / G+
Both original black die-cut inner sleeves are included.
One inner sleeve grades VG with general age-related wear and no tears around the centre die-cut hole.
The second inner sleeve grades G+ and has a small tear around the centre die-cut hole along with general age-related wear.
PHOTOS:
All four original portrait photographs are included.
Paul portrait has a scratch across the centre.
John, George and Ringo portraits remain in good condition with light age-related wear.
POSTER:
Not included.
LABELS:
Original Apple mono labels with "An E.M.I. Recording" text.
