Description
Well, how about this for a find!.Parlophone label No PCS 7027 stereo.Originaly from 1967 but this mail order was made in 1984.Original UK vinyl LP.Mail order only for Hi Fi today,Mastered and pressed for readers of Hi fi today magazine.Supercut Nimbus records with matrix Nos, side 1 YEX 637 A1&YEX 638 B2,With "Nimbus England" on the run off.Scarce as any Beatles records as this was mail order only.Im not sure but it sounds different to the other Sgt Peppers i have heard,It may be because its stereo, but it does sound a bit different.Its a different cut,hence the name supercut.
I played it the once for grading and its as close to near mint as you can get.I think the play i gave it was only the second play it as ever had.The labels are spotless with no spider webbing too excellent spindle.Record sits flat to turntable and the sound quality is a revalation,I blasted it and the track"A day in the life" it sent a shivver down my spine(I have never heard it sound better)This is a record for the connissuer.The gatefold sleeve is in beautiful condition,No rips,tears or grafitti.It comes with the Nimbus sticker to front cover.Nice original inner with cut outs.This could be as good as it gets.This is a very rare item that seldom comes to auction.
The record collectors guide from 2006 lists it as £600,and due to that fact im starting this higher than i usually do.I have never seen it before and proberbly never see it again and i have been buying records since 1968.If you miss out on this then oppertunity may not come around again.It could be the only one around in this condition and can only gain in value if looked after.The winner of this record will know the quality of this record on the first play.I hope it gets a good home and good luck if you decide you need this unique and special record.IF it hits the hights as it will i will send special D at no extra cost in the UK.
