Description
This auction is for The Beatles "Yesterday & Today" vinyl LP - Capitol Records T 2553 - mono.
This is a second state butcher cover (pasteover). The spine has a split of about 2 inches and the bottom seam has a split of about an inch and a half that starts at the cover opening. The front cover shows some handling and shelf wear. Ringo's black turtle neck is easily visible. I darkened the last picture so that you can see it even more plainly. The back cover has a name written in the upper right corner and there is a "6" next to the RIAA symbol indicating that this is a west coast issue. There is ring wear on the back cover. Cover grades VG to VG+.
The vinyl has some minor scuffs and scratches - visually grades VG. The dead wax has "*" - indicator of a west coast issue.
The labels look nice with some spindle marks. Also includes yellow/gold Capitol Records inner sleeve - but it does have seam splits.
