Description
This is a copy of Oh Boy by The Crickets (Buddy Holly), demo, single-sided 7" 45 rpm single from 1957 on Vogue Coral 103179. The official release number (Q 72298) is stamped on the label.
The stamped matrices are 45-VC-103179 1C and 45 RPM-BACK
The vinyl is in Very Good condition. There are some light paper lines and scuffs. It plays loud and clear with no skips or pops. There is just a little faint background hiss in the quieter spots. There is a small number 205 written in ink on the label. There is a groove cut into the blank B-side that plays with no sound apart from a continuous hum. The tri-centre is firmly fixed.
The brown, rough-paper sleeve has some creasing and a record shop sticker on the front.
Comes with a new generic, die-cut, white paper sleeve.
