The Doors is the self-titled debut album by the American rock band the Doors, released in January 1967. The album features their breakthrough single "Light My Fire " and the lengthy song "The End" with its Oedipal spoken word section. The Doors credit the success of the album to being able to work the songs out night after night at the Whisky a GoGo and the London Fog nightclubs in West Hollywood, California.

The Doors was not only one of the albums to have been most central to the progression of psychedelic rock, but is also one of the most acclaimed recordings in all of popular music. In 2012, it was ranked number 42 in Rolling Stone magazine's 500 greatest albums of all time.

LABEL – Elektra / 1967 - Thick (120/150g) Pressed Vinyl

VINYL – VG++/Excellent  - Has Beautiful Shine & Gloss - Shows very minimal paper scuffs/surface wear or  play. No major scratches or issues ~ Has been play graded - Sounds Amazing!!!   *** As with any vintage vinyl that has not been graded "Mint" ~ you may hear surface noise / background on quieter tracks ***

COVER - VG++/Excellent - Colors are vibrant & bright - All edges are strong without tape or bends - Spine is intact & catalogue information is clear & readable ~ There are no  rips/tears/stains/odors

MATRIX -  EKS 74007A (A) / EKS 74007B (A)  (*early pressing  historically offer better dynamics; sound & experience)

NM - Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new. EX+- close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect play. EX- A used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear. VG+- There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few scuffs - could include light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, still plays great. VG- significant wear and marks - would be noticeable - may have surface noise -still plays very well with no disruption. Good- Would only sell if the Record/Cover were Rare ~ Highly Desirable and/or Limited/Special Edition vinyl/jacket cover
