Description

Up for bid is a rare copy of a 1967 45 of The Gas Company, an Iowa garage rock band from Spencer, Iowa.  This is the band's only recording.  It was released on IGL  (Iowa Great Lakes) Records, #45-126.  The two original cuts are "Meaning Of Love" & "Love From Your Heart".  Know as one of the best rock club bands, they traveled the U.S., but never became a big recording band.  The two guys who formed The Gas Company, Tom Brown and Jerry Wolford were inducted into the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
in 1999.  The disc, both sides is VG++.  The labels...one is excellent to NM and the other side is VG+ and has a tiny nick.  Good luck on the garage band gem from Iowa.  Shipping is $3.30.  International is $13.75.
