Description
Hi, presented here is a lovely example of the debut self titled LP by The Kinks, on the Pye Label, catalogue number NPL 18096, Mono, 1964. So, here's the condition:-
The Sleeve:- Very impressive EX to EX+, the front cover is incredibly clean and vibrant, no marks, and only a couple of small laminate lifts near the edges. All 3 edges are true and shiny, with the title spine being fully legible. Mild feathering to the opening edge. Rear tri-flipback sleeve in great shape, all 3 flips present and virtually undamaged. Only a couple of small oxidization marks. Mild to low ringwear down the left side, but not at all a problem. No writing or tears. Apologies for the camera flashback at the bottom middle of the front sleeve pic.
The Labels:- EX condition, beautifully vibrant colour still, no marks or writing. No spindle marks initially visible, but a moderate amount can be seen if you tilt the record and look hard. Not a detraction from the look of the labels at all.
The LP Itself:- EX+ condition, incredible for its age. Nice sheen on both sides. I can see no properly visible marks on either side. Plays superbly with only minimal surface noise. This can vary from player to player.
Many thanks for looking. My records are sent in professional mailers, with the LP (still in the inner sleeve) removed from the outer sleeve to stop damage. Additional packing is placed either side of the LP. Overseas postage costs on request. I also have a lovely example of The Pretty Things "Emotions" LP for sale.
