Description

An original 1st press of GYYYO on the UK Decca label. Matrix 1W/4W. Stampers. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original fully laminated cover [very 1st issue]. Also included is the original white and blue inner sleeve date coded to August-1970 [08-70]..one month prior to 1st release. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio come across with perfect clarity. The audio quality is superb and hard to find fault with. Just beautiful clean audio all the way through. Even the test track 'Love In Vain' plays nice and clean. Interference is pretty much non-existent. We couldn't detect more than a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has been carefully looked after down the years. Lovely clean shiny front with just some laminate lift along the spine edge [fairly common]. The rear is lovely and clean and doesn't appear to have been affected by ageing - and there's no creases either. Edge wear is very light for this title and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A top-level example.
Inner (Ex) No splits and only lightest ageing.
