Volume n° 5 pubblicato il 1976 su etichetta “London Record”, appartenente alla rara collana “ The Rolling Stones 1.500 “ con inserto di 8 pagine con foto, testi in inglese, giapponese e note biografiche. Larga OBI a colori a sfondo rosso riportante il prezzo di 1.500 Yen.

I Rolling Stones sono un gruppo musicale britannico composto da Mick Jagger (voce), Keith Richards (chitarra), Ronnie Wood (chitarra) e Charlie Watts (batteria). È una delle band più importanti e una delle maggiori espressioni del rock, quel genere musicale che è l'evoluzione del rock & roll anni '50, rivisitato da loro in chiave più dura con ritmi lascivi e canto aggressivo, con continui riferimenti al sesso e con la celebrazione delle droghe pesanti. Per il loro essere trasgressivi furono chiamati i "brutti, sporchi e cattivi" e contrapposti ai più rassicuranti Beatles, anche se tale contrapposizione fu creata spesso dagli stessi Rolling Stones che si comportavano in modo volutamente antitetico rispetto ai Beatles, creando così un modello alternativo ad uso e consumo della stampa musicale. I Rolling Stones sono stati, e sono tuttora, una autentica pietra miliare nell'evoluzione della musica del novecento, portando sotto i riflettori il malcontento e di conseguenza la protesta di intere generazioni, incarnando così il travagliato spirito dei grandi bluesman del passato e scegliendo il titolo di una canzone di uno di questi (Muddy Waters) come nome del loro gruppo: Rollin' Stone Blues. L'esordio ufficiale avviene in uno dei templi del rock, il Marquee di Londra, il 12 luglio 1962. Fin dall'inizio costituiscono l'alternativa "sporca e cattiva" ai Beatles con una musica che attinge alle radici del rock'n'roll e del blues. Il successo fin dalle prime canzoni è grandissimo. Nel gennaio del 1963 Charlie Watts entra ufficialmente nel gruppo sostituendo il batterista Tony Chapman, che a sua volta era subentrato al posto di Mick Avory. Nei primi anni di attività i Rolling Stones si cimentano solo in rivisitazioni di brani del repertorio americano di rock & roll, blues e rhythm'n'blues come nei casi di Buddy Holly (Not Fade Away), Chuck Berry (Carol) ma anche di Lennon/McCartney (I Wanna Be Your Man). In seguito all'uscita dei primi due singoli e dell'Ep su cui sono presenti Bye Bye Johnny, Money, Poison Ivy e You Better Move On, gli Stones ottengono il privilegio di registrare nelle sale della Chess. Da qui, tra il 1964 ed il 1965 Jagger e Richards, cominciano a incidere canzoni loro e a riprodurre quel sound sconosciuto alle sale d'incisione inglesi. Dopo il primo Lp il secondo, il terzo, e una gran quantità di singoli fino ad arrivare al '65, l'anno della svolta: esce prima The Last Time (riutilizzata più di 30 anni dopo dai The Verve per la loro Bitter Sweet Symphony), seguita da (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction. Ed è proprio con Satisfaction (1965) che i Rolling Stones si impongono definitivamente.

Out of Our Heads è il quinto album in studio dei Rolling Stones, pubblicato negli Stati Uniti il 30 luglio 1965.

The Rolling Stones are a British band consisting of Mick Jagger (vocals), Keith Richards (guitar), Ronnie Wood (guitar) and Charlie Watts (drums). It is one of the band's most important and one of the greatest expressions of rock, that kind of music that is the evolution of rock & roll '50s, they revisited in a more harsh rhythms and singing lewd aggressive, with constant references to sex and with the celebration of hard drugs. For their being transgressive were called "ugly, dirty and bad" and opposed to the more reassuring Beatles, even if that opposition was often created by the same Rolling Stones who were behaving in a deliberately antithetical to the Beatles, thus creating an alternative model to use and enjoyment of the music press. The Rolling Stones were, and still are, a true milestone in the evolution of the music of the twentieth century, bringing the spotlight of discontent and therefore the protest of generations, thus embodying the troubled spirit of the great bluesmen of the past and choosing the title of a song by one of these (Muddy Waters) as the name of their group: Rollin 'Stone Blues. The official debut is in one of the temples of rock, the Marquee in London on 12 July 1962. Outset is the alternative "dirty and bad" with the Beatles music that draws on the roots of rock'n'roll and blues. The success from the early songs is great. In January 1963 Charlie Watts officially joined the group replacing drummer Tony Chapman, who in turn had taken the place of Mick Avory. In the early years of the Rolling Stones engages only in new interpretations of songs on the repertoire of American rock & roll, blues and rhythm and blues as in cases of Buddy Holly (Not Fade Away), Chuck Berry (Carol), but also Lennon / McCartney (I Want to Be Your Man). Following the exit of the first two singles and of Ep which are Bye Bye Johnny, Money, Poison Ivy "and" You Better Move On, the Stones get the privilege of registering in the halls of Chess. From here, between 1964 and 1965 Jagger and Richards, they begin to affect them and play songs that sound strange to the halls of engraving in England. After the first LP, the second, third, and a large number of individual up to the '65, the turning point: first comes The Last Time (reused more than 30 years later by The Verve for their Bitter Sweet Symphony ), followed by (I Can not Get No) Satisfaction. And it is precisely with Satisfaction (1965) that the Rolling Stones are needed permanently.
