Description
The Youngbloods debut self titled 1967 RCA Victor Records classic,produced by Felix Pappalardi…In DYNAGROOVE mono!
LPM - 3724.
Features the 60's anthem Get Together,which ironically wasn't a hit until two years later and when it became a hit in 1969…It was MASSIVE and still used to this very day,in movies etc. that try to convey the 60's.. This record also features fred Neil's The Other Side Of This Life,which was covered by the Jefferson Airplane and Blind Willie McTell's Statesboro Blues,which the Allman Brothers opened with at most of their concerts, including their historic recordings in March of 1971,which were to be released as their Live At The Fillmore East two record set.
Get Together by the way was written by one Chester Powers,better known professionally as Dino Valenti of the Quicksilver Messenger Service.
The record grades Excellent,there are a few marks here and there,nothing that impedes the performance of this brilliant and very rare record.
The record cover is grades a modest Excellent,extremely hard to find a copy of this record in better condition.
Comes with the original inner sleeve.
