DESCRIPTION:The Legendary 1977 single by Urchin- Black Leather Fantasy/ Rock N Roll Woman. Original UK DJM release in company sleeve with matrix ending 5069-A1/ 5097-B1. Im sure you know what this is without me boring you with tales of Iron Maiden and the start of the NWOBM!! CONDITION (VINYL/Company Sleeve) POOR (Please read on)/ VG+. Vinyl appears heavily played and not very well looked after/very neglected. It has masses of light brushing lines and quite a few short scratches. I have played both sides of this twice today on my Pro-ject Deck at a decent volume (20- ive got kids). Sits flat on turntable, this record has no edge warps. Side A plays between bad and poor. You can make the music out but it has heavy crackle throughout and multiple jumps/skips, mainly , but not entirely, towards the end of the song. Side B plays poor with heavy crackle but no skips that i could discern. Please dont bid on this if you are wanting anything more than a collection filler, this is rough. If you have not heard this, these are excellent songs, way ahead of their time. Its hard to believe this was made in 1977 when you compare it to all the other metal dross around at the time. Labels are okay, side A has a little red biro on the "A" for A side. Apologies for the crap label pictures , I had to use a flash as we dont have any sunlight in north east england until july for 2 days then it rains again. DJM company sleeve is in very good+ condition with light wear only and no splits. No other writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. All in all this is rough as a badgers arse but it is what it is, a piece of metal history. Please note, this is not going anywhere unless you pay for tracked/signed for postage. If you wont pay for signed for / tracked dont bother bidding cos i aint sending it to you. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
