Well folks here is a COMPLETE 1st PRESS Let It Be box set
This was the Beatles' 13th and final offical album release. Released on the 8th of May 1970, it reached the number 1 slot just over two weeks later and stayed there for 3 weeks. It was also, sadly, to prompt the Beatles' last live performance: on top of the Apple Building in London on the 30th of January 1969.
An interesting little bit about this album is the cover was originally intended to be the cover which was used for the Beatles' compilation in 1973 for their 'Red' and 'Blue' album.
Even though recording for the album was finished by the end of May '69, it wasn't until March 1970, when Phil Spector was brought in, when it finally got released.

So, here follows the details of this little beauty:

**LOVELY 1st PRESSING**

Vinyl:

VG(+).
Cleaned firstly with Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner and then Ultrasonically cleaned and finally a light vacuum to suck up any left over residue.
The vinyl has just light marks to her....Nothing feelable at all. IMPORTANTLY-These made little impact on audio playback-I have graded her down just due to the visual impact of these marks when looking for them or angling towards the light. After giving her a gentle professional clean, I listened to the album, all the way through and at volume...LOVELY AUDIO!
 Certainly not jumps or skips!
On loud playback I noticed just a couple of very light and soft background pops, which WERE only brief and only a handful of them too-I am being INCREDIBLY CRITICAL!
The audio was rich and clear-an absolute pleasure to listen to....Even the fade in and out of the tracks are lovely and clear.
LET IT BE shone out in all it's glory, being wonderfully clean and clear-Turn her up-I did :)
Side 2 was equally clean and clear and didn't have any issues or anything important to mention (there was a light and soft pop on track 1 but it didn't last long at all)-other than the lovely rich, clean and clear audio-with almost silent run-ins too!
FLAT AS THE DAY SHE WAS BORN & STILL RETAINS THE GLORIOUS SHEEN

Original DARK GREEN 1st pressing labels. Lovely and clean. Only light central hole wear as can be seen in the detailed images supplied...With light spindle marks, visible when angled towards the light and looking for them(!)-absolutley nothing to worry about at all.

WONDERFULLY DISPLAYABLE

Record Sleeve:

Glorious glossy sheen to both the front and back.
The corners remain lovely and strong, with just light rubbing/knocking.
The spine is superbly clear and flat, with some light rubbing, but remains perfectly legible.
The Apple to the back is RED-showing it to be the very first pressing...If you need more convincing than the end matricies as well as the Mothers and Stampers! Not often at all you get to see these up for sale!
There are some lines of spidering near the opening to the front, with just a couple to the back.

NO RIPS OR TEARS
    WOULD FRAME INCREDIBLY WELL

Wonderful condition and all ORIGINAL.

Just light discolouration and a tiny 1cm split to the bottom seam.


Outer Cover:
VG+/EX.
 When taking the inner tray out of the outer cover, the cover still keeps it's shape-this is how I have photographed her. Now that's a good solid example! (most I have seen collapse when the inner tray support has been taken away).
To the front, the pictures are lovely and clear-gorgeous sheen to the fully laminated outer cover. The corners are solid too, with just a small degree of storage wear to one corner, with the bottom left and right side corners having a very small rubbed split of just around 5mm....I am being very honest, open and critical here.
There is a faint and small line of spidering to the top right corner of the front pictures-but not over the Beatles' images and remains inconsequential.
Superb, SOLID example!
It really is in great shape.

**BOTH HAVE SURVIVED-NOT A REPRODUCTION PIECE IN SIGHT**
 It is the ORIGINAL black inner tray (with the grey inside)and with the rounded corners-which has survived incredibly well.
The card inner, where the book is housed, come away at one corner only, as you can see in the images provided. There is some handling wear and  little tears to the inner corners, but remains in one piece-please see the detailed images.
Hard to find these in any condition.
