1st Loud Cut version

Professionally CLEANED firstly with an Ultrasonic cleaner and then Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner-followed by listening to BOTH sides, in their entirety.

This Lp was released on the 3rd of December 1965 and stayed at the number 1 position for a total of 9 weeks from Christmas that year....What a pressie to unwrap!

HEAVYWEIGHT QUALITY 149g

It is the much RARER LOUD CUT version which was pulled shortly after it's release in 1965, which are now becoming increasingly difficult to find in any condition.

There are only some very light marks to the vinyl., which DID NOT make her jump or skip on my Focus One record deck (on a light setting too).

What I found was quality audio, with raw, clear sound. I noticed just a few light and soft pops: inbetween tracks, with just a couple right before ‘Michelle’ and a few very light sections of background noise here and there….None of which were offensive at all.

Lovely shine and weight.

SHE SOUNDS LOUD!

Even the run ins were incredibly quiet-displaying just a little, incredibly light bit of ‘crackle.’

GLORIOUSLY RAW

The Bass line really comes across on Norwegian Wood-I've never noticed it quite so pronounced before...Interesting :)

Also noticed the utter clarity of Lennons voice on Girl...Really nice.

Flat as the day she was born.

It has the New Gothic text, rather than the New Times Roman text.

Shiny front cover...

VERY strong clear and clean spine...which remains wonderfully strong.

Strong corners, with a small degree of light rubbing/knocking.

Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks in SOLID condition.

I can see just a small handful of small crescents of spidering to the front laminate near the opening. With a some small fingers of spidering emanating from the seams....Nothing terrible at all.

The back card has just light discolouration due to age.

It is the all ORIGINAL and EARLIEST "USE EMITEX" with the poly-lining and “PATENTS APPLIED FOR” statement.

In absolutely SUPERB condition too..Just some discolouration to the paper-due to age.
