Wilson Malone is nowadays renowned for his work in collaborations with some of the most famous and influential bands in the world. He has e.g. arranged for the Who on "Tommy", also for Black Sabbath on three different early albums. The arrangement for strings on The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" is a well known achievement by Wil Malone. Latterly he also worked with Sweden's Opeth and bandleader Mikael Ackerfeld. Wil Malone is a well known name in progressive collector territory for his LP's with Orange Bicycle and Motherlight. His solo LP is an impossible to find item nowadays reaching prices of well over £1000.

A VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Wil Malone (as The Wilson Malone Voiceband) called "Funnysad Music" and is an ORIGINAL UK 1968 1st Pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Morgan label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS WIL MALONES FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  THIS LP IS ALSO INCREDIBLY SOUGHT AFTER AS IT FEATURES BAND MEMBERS OF THE UK PSYCH BAND 'ORANGE BICYCLE' (WHICH WIL MALONE WAS ALSO A MEMBER OF!) AND WIL MALONE THEN WENT ON TO FORM THE STUNNING PSYCH/PROG BAND 'MOTHERLIGHT' SOON AFTER THIS LP WAS RELEASED!!!! 

 IT IS ALSO WORTH NOTING THAT 'MOTHERLIGHT' ALSO RELEASED THEIR LP ON THE MORGAN LABEL!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE VERY SOUGHT AFTER MORGAN LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! 

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' MORGAN LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' LAMINATED 'PATENT PENDING' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL UK Morgan 1st Pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is MR 112P on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Morgan label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing 

Vinyl: NM . They don't come any better than this unless you can travel back in time to the pressing plant. This vinyl has not been played. It has no marks or any traces or hairlines at all. There is still vinyl debris visible in the spindle hole, indicating that it has not been played. NO spindle traces at all. Beautiful rough textured labels on the rare and very collectible Morgan imprint.  On replay it only gets better. Great strong stereo separation with  silent (no crackle etc.) replay. So much better than the CD! Needless to say this vinyl has no problems at all. NO jumps, NO skips, NO sticks etc. An upgrade for all on this extremely scarce collectible vinyl from 1968.

Sleeve: EX to EX+.  Again this has to be seen to be believed. A properly looked after sleeve without any wear safe for a minor scuff on the spine. The spine is fully square. NO splits and NO tears, NO writing. There is nothing untoward like writing or stains. There are not any creases or writing. This is still as first issued and has been looked after and stored properly. NO splits NO stains etc.
