*WITH THE BEATLES* UK PARLOPHONE STEREO LP *SAMPLE*

Description

THE BEATLES :- With The Beatles - UK Silver / Black Label Parlophone PCS 3045 STEREO LP , front laminated , flipover feature Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve

A 1970 pressing ..........

With Original 1970 'sepia' coloured EMI advertising Liner Sleeve

This great album is just one of a lovely collection of Beatle items I have purchased from an ex label licensing employee at EMI Records , Manchester Square , London W1 , who worked there throughout the 1970's ........

Copies of EMI records were available to employees working there , with stickers attatched to either sleeves or labels stating 'Factory Sample' or 'Manufacturers Property'

The disc has very light use .... no marks as such , just a couple of very faint traces evident beneath a light ..... No label wear , light trace of spindle use : EXCELLENT condition.

The sleeve has some light wear .... the front laminate has light lustre , a few mild wrinkles , faint ring impression ........ The rear panel has light ageing , quite clean ... nice tight flips ..... No edge or spine wear : Graded at EXCELLENT minus condition.

The Beatles: John Lennon (vocals, acoustic & electric guitars, harmonica, Hammond organ, tambourine); George Harrison (vocals, acoustic & electric guitars); Paul McCartney (vocals, piano, electric bass, claves); Ringo Starr (vocals, drums, bongos, maracas).Additional personnel: George Martin (piano).Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London, England from July to October 1963. Includes liner notes by Tony Barrow. This is the one that turned the world upside-down. Released as its creators evolved from pop group to phenomenon, WITH THE BEATLES both affirmed promise and proclaimed genius. A slew of memorable Lennon/McCartney compositions embraced pop at its most multi-faceted, robust, melancholic, excited, and wistful. Their grasp of melody and harmony startled, yet for every unusual chord sequence employed, the Beatles' vigor and sense of purpose remained true. Influences and mentors were acknowledged by a handful of cover versions, but the strength of the album lies in the group's own creations. WITH THE BEATLES freed artists to record their own material, and the course of pop was irrevocably changed.

I usually start auctions at a low price to generate interest in bidding

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly

Please check my feedback ratings , you will see that a large amount are from repeat buyers ( many thanks !) .... and in the event of genuine complaints will remedy the situation as soon as possible

**POSTAGE & PACKING**

All items carefully packaged using proper cardboard packaging (I do not use low quality preformed mailers)
