WINGS - HELEN WHEELS / COUNTRY DREAMER
(Apple R 5993 although doesn't have this printed on the labels or record)
This is a white label test pressing from the original press run back in October 1973.
Has name of song and band written in on both sides and A and B in red pen.
Matrix numbers are: 7YCE 21734-3U G 1
7YCE 21735-1U G 1
Record is VG- plays very well, has various superfluous, light scratches/handling marks, a smallish scuff mark on side one which covers the first half of the song (but hardly sounds when played - maybe a couple of clicks near the start) and plays with some light surface noise and the odd light click. There is an everso slight warp across half of the disc - it raises up about 1mm on one side, but it is a gradual warp, so as the record turns, it doesn't affect play at all. No sticks, no jumps, and sounds great! Comes in a plain white paper die cut sleeve.
