Description
Perdido: light to moderate random surface noise, and a few random,
slightly louder clicks toward the end of the trumpet solo:
No loud clicks during the piano solo; Salt Peanuts: light to moderate
random surface noise, more "light than moderate".
The "MC" is mixed right up front compared to the music,
which delightfully includes enthusiastic crowd noises and
brief cheering when the musicians are really doing some of their
cooler stuff or solo-ing. It appears that the MC is also singing
the main lyric to the song, IE, "Salt Peanuts", including ad-libbing that
"the name of this song is ... Salt Peanuts ..." The song fades out abruptly
and is continued on Side 2.
Side 2: entire B-side: periodic loud clicks/pops during the initial piano solo,
during the drum solo, and one final vocalization of the song title.
The song ends abruptly and with a sudden edit / cut
to the beginning of ALL THINGS YOU ARE.
We listened carefully and are certain this is sloppy editing and sequencing
by the label, not a "jump-skip". This tune continues to have periodic and
seemingly random pops and clicks, in addition to the moderately loud-ish
surface crackle. The noise is never overpowering, but it is there.

Labels are clean, no sticker stain or writing. Jacket condition:
Front laminate has light shelf wear, NOT heavy ring-wear, and a spot of crud
to the right and at "4 o'clock" relative to "bud" in the lower left corner.
There are some bits of wear and minor soiling, see photos.
It's apparent that there was moisture damage - some of the lower lamination
has that appearance. Bottom seam mostly intact with some
small spots of wear / small section of missing fold-over lamination.
Corner is worn. Spine has wear, but is not split. It does have almost an inch
of fraying / splitting near the bottom, and wear and minor fraying at the top corner.
The top edge is mostly intact with just some corner wear.
The lower laminate on the back side is also starting to unglue,
with minor moisture damage. There's light shelf-wear, and some
minor soling, but no big stains, no crud or schmutz, no writing, no rips.
